Passengers jump out of train

Batala June 22. Some passengers jumped out of a running train in panic after noticing smoke from a bogie of the diesel multiple unit on the Amritsar-Pathankot section today, police sources said. The incident occurred in the Amritsar-bound train near a cooperative sugar mill here. Due to the slow speed of the train no major casualty was reported. — PTI
