Ambedkar Thondarpadai to contest civic polls

Pondicherry June 22. The Pondicherry based Puratchialar Ambedkar Thondarpadai would contest the coming municipal and commune panchayat polls in the Union Territory. According to a resolution adopted at the organisation`s meeting held under the chairmanship of its convenor C.Moorthy, the Thondarpadai would go it alone in the election.

A communication from the spokesman of the Thondarpadai, G.Kalaimani said today that the organisation would not work out any pact or understanding with other political parties to contest the civic polls.
