One killed in mishap

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM June 22. A 23-year-old youth was killed when the motorbike he was riding collided with a Nagercoil-bound KSRTC Fast Passenger bus at Pravachambalam junction on Sunday afternoon.

Police identified the deceased as Abilash, a resident of Powdikonam.

An official said that the youth was returning home after an interview with a private firm when the accident occurred.

The body was being kept at the MCH mortuary for post-mortem examination.
