Nothing positive

Sir, — If there was anyone who benefited from the "chintan baithak" organised by the BJP in Mumbai, it was the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, who was unanimously chosen to lead his party in the next polls. Apart from this, the meeting did not yield any positive outcome. Instead of placing a mirror before the NDA Government, they are devising ways and means to improve the performance of the Ministry in grey areas. The BJP members are indulging in window-dressing by showering lavish praises on one another.

V. Rajesh,

Mumbai
