Badal calls on Advani

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI June 23. The former Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal, today called on the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani. The Punjab Vigilance Bureau is currently investigating an alleged money-laundering racket involving members of Mr. Badal's family.

Later talking to reporters, Mr. Badal said they discussed the ``false cases that were registered against members of SAD and arrests made in that connection''. He maintained that the investigation and arrests were part of a witch-hunt by the Chief Minister, Amarinder Singh.
