Two killed in blast

Srinagar June 23. Two persons were killed and 48 injured, nine of them seriously, when a powerful grenade exploded in Shopian township of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir this morning, official sources said.

The grenade was hurled by militants at security personnel near a crowded bus stand in the township.

They said the two civilians died on the spot. — PTI
