Pak. welcomes India's move

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD June 24 . Pakistan today welcomed India's decision seeking an early convening of technical-level discussions for resumption of the snapped air links between the two countries and announced that it was all set to resume the Lahore-Delhi bus service.

Addressing a crowded press conference here, the Pakistan Transport Minister, Rais Munir Ahmed, said that Islamabad desired the early restoration of train services and air links.

Mr. Ahmed said that though Pakistan was ready "technically and administratively" to re-start the Lahore-Delhi bus service, he was in no position to announce the exact date when it would begin. "It depends on clearance of visas for the crew members, and, of course the normalisation of the issue of visas to people on both sides".
