Nagaland Minister sacked

Kohima June 28. The Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, tonight dismissed the Housing and Home Guards Minister, E.T. Ezung, from his four-month-long Ministry, official sources said.

Mr. Ezung, a senior member of the Nagaland Democratic Movement, was inducted into the 33-member Rio Ministry when the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland, a conglomeration of four parties, wrested power from the Congress in the last Assembly elections in the State. — PTI
