New envoy to China

NEW DELHI JUNE 30. India today formally announced the appointment of Nalin Surie, Additional Secretary (East Asia) in the Ministry of External Affairs, as the new Ambassador to China. Mr. Surie, who succeeds Shivshankar Menon, is expected to take up his new assignment shortly.
