Two new secretaries take charge

NEW DELHI
JULY 7.
Two new Secretaries today took office in the Union Finance Ministry.
M.M.K. Sardana, took charge as Company Affairs Secretary, while N.S. Sisodia assumed the office of Banking Secretary.
Mr. Sardana, a 1968 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre, was Special Secretary in the Union Power Ministry before his new assignment. He replaces V.K. Dhall, who has been appointed a member of the Competition Commission of India. Mr. Sisodia was Secretary in-charge of Defence Production. He replaces Vineeta Rai who becomes Revenue Secretary in the Finance Ministry.
