Militants kill five

Jammu July 7. Militants gunned down five persons, including two women, in Noushera sector near the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu region. Talking to The Hindu, the Deputy Inspector-General of police (Rajouri-Poonch range), S.M. Sahai, said: "In the afternoon, three militants in Army uniform were spotted in Dhaneka village by a civilian, who raised an alarm.'' In panic, the militants started firing indiscriminately killing five civilians.
