According to reports, Mr. Pathak's brother-in-law, Pawan Sharma, along with a few accomplices allegedly opened fire killing Mr. Singh and injuring Mr. Pathak, who was rushed to hospital. Mr. Sharma and five others have been arrested. Police have seized an automatic revolver, a 12-bore gun, a country-made pistol and ammunition from them.
