Sivaramakrishnan to coach in Sri Lanka

Chennai July 11. Former Indian leg-spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has been invited by the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) to conduct a three-day `Special Coaching Clinic' for spinners in Colombo from July 15 to 17.

During the clinic, Sivaramakrishnan will be working in tandem with former Australian opener John Dyson, who will be taking over as the Sri Lankan coach, and former Sri Lankan captain Bandula Warnapura, presently, the Director of the Cricket Operations in the BCCSL.

Among those at the clinic would be eight leg-spinners, including international bowlers Upul Chandana and Kausalya Lokourachchi.

Sivaramakrishnan leaves for Sri Lanka on Monday.
