Under-18 team to tour U.K.

CHENNAI JULY 13. An India Under-18 team, led by Jharkand midfielder Moirangthem G. Singh from Tata Football Academy, is leaving from Goa on Sunday to take part in the Milk Cup football tournament in Northern Ireland and another international fixture in Wales thereafter.

This is the first time that an Indian Under-18 team is participating in such a prestigious international tournament, where junior teams of leading clubs in the world like Botofogo from Brazil, Leeds United from England, Manchester United from England, River Plate from Argentina, Bayern Munich from Germany and others are participating.

The Indian team is grouped with Dynamo Kiev from Russia, Preston North End from England and Co. Antrim from Northern Ireland.
