BJP and Badal

Sir, — This has reference to the report `Look into graft in BJP-ruled States, Amarinder tells Venkaiah' ( July 15 ). The BJP chief's attack on the Punjab Government's anti-corruption moves against the former Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal, and the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani's support to Mr. Badal were not only shocking, but were against the BJP's poll manifesto which promised a clean and corruption-free Government.
