Unbeaten 121 by Meenakshisundaram

MADURAI JULY 15. An unbeaten century by Meenakshisundaram (121 not out) and a brilliant 84 by Dhanush helped TVS Srichakra Tyres Cricket Club carve out an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Pykara Cricket Club in the IOB-Madurai District Cricket Association First Division A zone league here on Sunday.

Pykara CC 221 in 46.4 overs (Doss 42, Balamurugan 30, Madhavan 40, Karthick 44) lost to TVS Srichakra Tyres 222 for one in 36.4 overs (Meenakshisundaram 121 not out, Dhanush 84).

First Division B zone: Freak Amigos CC 98 in 24.3 overs (Ramu 30, Nagarajan three for 26) lost to KKRC 99 for seven in 20.5 overs (Prabhu three for 34, Ramu three for 27).

Second Division: Blooming Elevens CC 193 for seven in 30 overs (Meenakshi 45, Challamani 39, Senthoor 38 not out) bt Spark Colts CC 128 in 21 overs (Chandrakanth 36, Meenakshi three for 21).

Majestic Toddlers CC 60 in 19 overs (Arun three for 21, Ramasubbu three for 15) lost to M.Toddlers CC 61 for one in 7 overs (Ramasubbu 30 not out).

Fourth Division: Blue Blast CC 101 in 18 overs (Kannan four for 19) lost to MC SCC 103 in 23 overs (Mani 34, Shahid 31).

Mercurry Legends CC 223 for six in 26 overs (Vimal 28, Lakshman 54, Ramar 54 not out) bt Fenner CC 104 in 17 overs (Praveen 32, Suresh three for 17, Bhaskar three for 21).

Chums CC 116 in 23 overs (Somu 37) lost to Canara Bank RC 70 for seven in 15 overs (Bhaskar 25, Jeyakumar three for 12) on better run rate.
