An agent of Chennai-based Balaji Tours and Travels was found to have secured `extra' tickets than what he has paid for by tampering with the software. The agent was learnt to have procured extra tickets and sold them for a premium, which, at times, was around five times the original cost. Persons manning the software centre and the ticket counter, the two wings let out by Vijaya bank, were allegedly in collusion with the agent and carrying out the operation for some time, E. Damodar, TTD's Chief Vigilance and Security Officer, said. Finding the software as not `tamper-proof,' the TTD authorities have written to the bank's Executive Director, Sethi, who is learnt to have assured to send his deputy general manager to Tirumala soon. The cyber crime police in Hyderabad have also been alerted.
