Ambanis exempted

NEW DELHI JULY 17. In a major relief to the Ambani brothers, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani of the Reliance Group of Industries, the Delhi High Court today directed a trial court here not to press for appearance of the two brothers till further orders in an Official Secrets Act case.

Justice J.D. Kapoor stayed the operation of two summons which the then Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM), Sangita Dhingra Sehagal, (since transferred to the Press Council of India as Secretary), had issued on a direction by the Special Judge for CBI cases, P.K. Bhasin.
