Goods train derails

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) July 17. Fourteen wagons of a coal-laden goods train derailed on a bridge over the Hasdeo river and 13 of these fell into the river on the Champa-Gevra section of the Bilaspur Division of the South-Eastern-Central Railway early today.

``No loss of life has been reported in the incident which occurred at around 1.30 a.m. between Korba and Kusmunda stations of the SECR, about 97 km from Bilaspur,'' the Divisional Railway Manager (Bilaspur), Vinay Mittal, told PTI.
