Kelly's death confirmed

LONDON JULY 19. David Kelly, the missing British weapons expert at the heart of a government row with the BBC over Iraq intelligence, was dead, the police confirmed on Saturday more than 24 hours after a body matching his description was found, a few miles from his Oxfordshire home.

He had left home on Thursday afternoon telling his family he was going for a walk, and never returned.
