The party's Parliamentary meeting here today with the party president and Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, in chair wanted the NDA Government to stick to the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) and national governance policies shared with its allies which do not speak about construction of temple in Ayodhya. The TDP was committed to the secular tenets enshrined in the Constitution and would oppose tooth and nail any move to bring in legislation on the contentious issue, the TDPP leader, K. Yerran Naidu, told newsmen after the meeting. Without naming the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Naidu said the TDPP would raise her foreign origin issue in Parliament and demand that the top three posts of the country President, Vice-President and Prime Minister should be occupied by an Indian by birth.
