Jain wants CBI to probe Hazare's work

Kopargaon July 20. Threatening to resign if the Government did not investigate the `corrupt activities' of social activist Anna Hazare within 15 days, the Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Suresh Jain, today demanded a CBI inquiry into Mr. Hazare's work.

Talking to newspersons, Mr. Jain alleged that the ``BJP is supporting him to malign the DF Ministers in the State''.

Mr. Jain and Mr. Hazare had filed defamation cases against each other after Mr. Hazare levelled corruption charges against Mr. Jain and four other NCP Ministers. — PTI
