Woman, child burnt alive for dowry

Gorakhpur July 20. In a gruesome dowry killing, a 25-year old woman was burnt alive with her one-year-old child allegedly by her husband and in-laws at a village in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur District, police sources said. The FIR lodged at Alipur alleged that Suneeta and her child were set on fire after her husband and in-laws sprinkled kerosene on them. — PTI
