Panja back in Trinamool

Kolkata July 21. The Trinamool Congress chief, Mamata Banerjee, today announced the withdrawal of suspension of the former Union Minister, Ajit Panja, from the party.

Ms. Banerjee said Mr. Panja had issued a statement expressing his willingness to return to the party fold and accept her leadership.

Mr. Panja was suspended two years ago for alleged anti-party activities. — PTI
