Twins separated

Singapore July 22. F our-month-old South Korean twins, Min Ji Hye and Sa Rang, joined at the pelvis were today separated at the same Singapore Hospital where the Iranian sisters seeking the same goal died two weeks ago.

The separation took place after one hour and 40 minutes of surgery at the Raffles Hospital, where the team of Singapore specialists then continued working with the baby girls on two separate tables. — DPA
