Intruder in Bihar Council

Patna July 25. In a glaring security breach, a Bihar Minister's son in an inebriated condition sneaked into the Legislative Council and occupied a Congress member's seat.

The chairman, Jabir Hussain, ordered the youth's eviction and said the offender, Vijay Ram, was the son of the Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Puranmasi Ram, and came in the beacon-fitted car of his father with his uniformed securitymen. As the youth managed to slip out, Mr. Hussain ordered his arrest.

Late in the night, Vijay Ram was arrested at the Minister's official residence.
