Another prison

Sir — This has reference to the article "Another kind of prison" ( July 26 ). It presents a heart-rending view of the hapless post-war Iraqi society.

The plight of the young girls clearly shows the anarchical state Iraq is in now. There is every need for the global community to extend its much-needed support to reshape the disfigured Iraqi society.
