Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your news report, "Milestones in the Babri Masjid demolition case" ( July 22 ), has brought out in lucid terms the trail in which the Babri Masjid case has travelled thus far. From that, one can easily understand that the CBI has been earnest in its efforts to pursue the case without any compromise. At no point in time has it tried to shield anyone. So it seems that the insinuations of the Congress against the CBI and the Centre are baseless. What is really unforgivable is the fact that the Congress has used Parliament as a playground. Even assuming that the accusation is true, is this the way to take it up? Why waste public money and Parliament's time?
