'No assurance given to U.K.'

NEW DELHI JULY 29. The British Government has made a request but no assurance has been given in regard to the release of Peter Bleach, main accused in the Purulia arms drop case, the Lok Sabha was informed today.

Replying to a question, the Deputy Prime Minster, L.K. Advani, said the Government was not being forced to release Bleach.
