Paramhans passes away

AYODHYA JULY 31. Mahant Ramchandradas Paramhans, president of the Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas and leading architect of the movement for construction of a Ram temple at Ayodhya, died at the Digambar Akhara here today at 4:45 a.m. after a protracted illness. He was 90 and was suffering from cancer.

The Mahant was shifted here from a hospital in Lucknow two days ago as per his wishes.
