Nehra hopes to be fit for Kiwi series

NEW DELHI AUG. 1. Left-arm seamer Ashish Nehra hopes to be fit for the first Test against New Zealand starting on October 8.

Recovering from an ankle surgery, Nehra spent two months in England as part of the rehabilitation process. "I'm confident of being fit for the first Test against New Zealand,'' said Nehra.

He ruled out any bowling in the month of August. "I would concentrate on some batting sessions.''
