Pak. bans Indian TV channels

KARACHI AUG. 2. Pakistan today asked the cable operators to observe strictly a ban on broadcasting Indian television channels imposed some 19 months ago after the December 2001 attack on the Indian Parliament for which New Delhi blamed Islamabad-backed militants.

The ban affected Star Plus, Star News, Zee Cinema, Zee Gold, Sony and B4U.
