ULFA militants killed

GUWAHATI AUG. 2. Five ULFA militants were killed in separate encounters with the Army in Assam today, official sources said.

Three ULFA men were shot dead by the Army and the police at South Haldibari near the Assam-West Bengal border.

In another incident, the Army shot dead two militants after they lobbed hand-grenades at the personnel in Nalbari district.
