Tyson files for bankruptcy

NEW YORK AUG. 3. The former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, has filed for protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, claiming his finances are in disarray. He has squandered about $300 million in ring earnings through lavish spending and bad advice. Tyson's handlers said in a news release on Friday that he had taken control of himself. — AFP
