Govt. plans tribunal on Krishna waters

New Delhi, Aug. 4. With Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh at loggerheads over sharing of the Krishna river water, the Centre tonight announced in the Lok Sabha the setting up of a Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal by the end of this month.

This will be the second tribunal on sharing of the Krishna water. The earlier one was set up in 1969. — PTI
