VIRUDHUNAGAR AUG 5 . Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption sleuths, assisted by Public Works Department officials, today conducted an assessment inspection of a ginning factory owned by the DMK MLA, K. K. S. S. R. Ramachandran, here.

Though no documents were seized, police sources hinted at conducting inspections of his other properties. Mr. Ramachandran also owns a cinema theatre here.

A team of plainclothesmen, headed by S. Prabakaran, ADSP, DVAC, Virudhunagar unit, arrived at the mill, located on the Perali road, and measured the land and built-up factory area. The MLA said that he fully cooperated with the officers.
