UTI to offer VRS

MUMBAI: The Unit Trust of India today decided to offer a voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) for its employees. The UTI board, which met here today, decided to seek Government approval for a VRS scheme with an internal target of 1500 employees. The total strength of the employees is 2400. The package details will be vetted by the Centre and will be announced in due course.
