SC to hear Laloo's plea today

NEW DELHI AUG. 6. The Supreme Court will hear tomorrow a petition from the former Bihar Chief Minister, Laloo Prasad Yadav, seeking a direction to the special court in Ranchi to return his passport to enable him to visit Pakistan as a member of a parliamentary delegation.

The Chief Justice, V.N. Khare, fixed the hearing by a special three-judge Bench headed by Justice S.N. Variava when the petition was `mentioned' by B.B. Singh, counsel for Mr. Yadav for early listing of the matter.
