Sir, The apprehension of workers about the turnaround of the Judiciary has come true with the apex court ruling. Earlier, it was Balco and now it is the employees' strike which has become a victim of judicial over-activism.

Sir, Only when the Government, at the Centre or in the States, repeatedly fails to hold negotiations, are the Government employees forced to resort to a strike. The strike by the Tamil Nadu employees was not for fresh economic demands but for the restoration of forcibly snatched-away rights.
