In a similar incident last month about 40 persons were killed in flash floods caused by a cloudburst in Gadsa area at Shilagarh of Kullu districtThe exact site of cloudburst this time is Kangni nullah, which is about 16 km from the tourist resort of Manali. The workers, a majority of whom belonged to Nepal and Bihar, were residing in makeshift tents in a camp on the banks of the Kangni stream. The toll could go up, according to sources. Police in Kullu said that 14 persons were still reported missing. Fifteen of the injured have been admitted to the Community Health Centre, Manali, three in a Mission Hospital and one seriously injured has been taken to the Zonal Hospital Kullu.
