Gratuity Plan from HDFC Standard Life

MUMBAI AUG. 11. HDFC Standard Life Insurance today launched "Gratuity Plan'' that offers an employer and gratuity scheme trustee "a new and flexible way to fund his gratuity liability.''

"The contributions that an employer decides to invest in this policy assist him in meeting gratuity obligations in a systematic and cost effective manner,'' said Deepak M. Satwalekar, Managing Director and CEO, HDFC Standard Life.

"This launch will help us serve our corporate client's needs better through a flexible product offering. The Gratuity Plan will help us build on the success of our Group Term Insurance and further consolidate our position in the group segment of the insurance and pension market,'' he added.

Gratuity Plan is unitised with a range of funds to match each customer's needs and approach to risk. Customers can choose from any of the five fund options offered — Liquid Fund, Secure Fund, Defensive Fund, Balanced Managed Fund and Growth Fund.

The plan also offers three service options to choose from.
