HYDERABAD: Teachers working in many degree and junior colleges, both Government and private, observed "Resentment Day'' on Monday by wearing black badges in protest against the "inordinate delay'' on the part of the Government in issuing orders on the ''agreed demands''. In a joint statement, S.D. Subba Reddy, K. Enoch Dayanand, chairman and secretary general of the Federation of College Teachers Associations (FCTA-AP) said about 20,000 teachers participated in the protest programme and addressed letters individually to the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, reminding him of his assurances. The secretariat members of the federation would meet on August 19 in Visakhapatnam to decide on the future course of action on their 14-point charter of demands.
