National award for 7 teachers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Aug. 11. Seven teachers from the State have been selected for the national award for teachers for 2002. They are V.V.Aleyamma, Headmistress, Government SVLP School, Pathanamthitta; P.K.Vasanthy, Headmistress, Government Harijan Welfare UP School, Kottayam; K.T.Aboobackar, Headmaster, Government UP School, Manjeri, Malappuram district; P.J.Antony, Headmaster, Government LP School, Ambalavayal, Wayanad; N.P.Dominic, Government High School, Elamakkara, Ernakulam; M.Padmini, Headmistress, MPM UP School, Marathencode, Thrissur and P.K.Ratnakaran, Headmaster, Government LP School, Theyatheru, Kannur. Those selected from Lakshadweep for the award are C.N.Mohammed Koya, Headmaster, JB School, Kadmat Islands and K.Raveendranath, Headmaster, Government Senior Basic School (Girls), Androt Island.
