Award for P. Leela

The noted singer, P. Leela, has been selected for this year's `Janamasthami Puraskaram,' which will be presented to her on August 14 at a function in Aluva. The veteran film and television actress, Sukumari, will give away the award, instituted by the Balasamskara Kendram. The award is given to an individual or organisation spreading awareness about the teachings of Lord Krishna. The award carries a cash prize, citation and a memento.PTI
