Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Reserve Bank of India's decision to give unstapled notes through banks is laudable. But there is a practical problem. Recently, I received an unstapled 50-rupee bundle from State Bank of India. But it was taped on all four sides. I could not count the notes. The upper and lower notes of the bundle got stuck, causing inconvenience in counting. There is a danger that two notes may stick together in the present system. I request the authorities concerned to devise a new method of supplying unstapled notes.
E. Udaya Kumar,
