Patan, who duped the security agencies by posing as a truck driver, recently transported 24 Gujarati Muslim youth to Poonch in Jammu for being taken to PoK. While Pathan was allegedly responsible for transporting the youth from Ahmedabad to Poonch, the financial aspect was taken care of by Malik, a resident of Hari in Surankote tehsil. For every trip, Patan was paid Rs.10,000 by Malik. The arrested agents of the Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence have revealed that at least 24 persons from different parts of Ahmedabad crossed over to Pakistan for arms training through the Line of Control in Poonch during the last six months.
