Munnani flays DMK remarks on cow slaughter

CHENNAI AUG. 13. The Hindu Munnani has criticised the DMK president, M. Karunanidhi, for his remarks on the proposed legislation to ban cow slaughter. Rama Gopalan, convener, in a statement has said, ``It is wrong to look at the animal from the religion angle''.
