Apang wins trust vote

Itanagar Aug. 18. The 16-day-old Gegong Apang United Democratic Front (UDF) Government in Arunachal Pradesh today won the confidence motion by a voice vote on the first day of the two-day Assembly session.

Mr. Apang took the trust vote on the floor of the House as directed by the Governor, V. C. Pandey. Taking part in the discussion, the Chief Minister said development would be the single-point agenda of his Government. — PTI
