Govt. staff plan strike

By Our Staff Correspondent

NEW DELHI AUG. 19. The All India State Government Employees Federation has threatened to go on a nationwide strike in December to protest the Supreme Court ruling that the employees had no right to go on strike.

In a statement here, the Federation general secretary, Sukomal Sen, said that the court judgment was completely misleading and confusing and the employees would not accept it under any circumstance. "We will try our best to reverse the judgment,'' he said.

Mr. Sen said the Federation would try to protect the interests of the employees and their human dignity at any cost.
