PM to launch mobile service in J&K

NEW DELHI AUG. 19. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, will make the first call to launch cellular services in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening.

Only the State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has been allowed to run cellular services which will be launched in phases all over the State beginning tomorrow with Srinagar, Jammu and the pilgrim town of Katra.
